The unique curvature of NYC's Lantern House caused issues with window sealing. Engineers determined that updating the vent catches on the latches could solve the problem and needed prototypes to test their theory.
Our approach
We produced two design iterations of the vent catch in durable nylon for functional testing. Once one of the designs proved successful, the final part went into production using stainless steel.
